Mahjongg is a tile game that originated in China and is played around the world. There are many variations of the game using the same set of tiles. Mah-Jongg Baggaley Style was developed by Stuart Baggaley, who began teaching this version of it in Ann Arbor in 2002. Enough players in Washtenaw and Lenawee counties use this style that a Mah-Jongg Baggaley Style Tournament has been held annually for the past seven years.
Learn to play Mah-Jongg Baggaley Style from Amy Seeto so you'll be ready to play at the next Tournament! We'll meet for 3 weeks so you can hone your skills. Attend any or all of these sessions, then come to the weekly Mahjong Meetup on Mondays at 1pm at Whittaker to continue practicing and playing the game!
