April is National Poetry Month, join us in celebrating poetry month with weekly writing sessions to explore the different styles of poetry and writing. Each week will have a different theme for participants to explore and learn about poetry.
Week 1 (4/16/25 6:30pm-7:30pm): Black Out and Find poetry
Week 2 (4/23/25 6:30pm-7:30pm): exploring poetry through creativity with Ypsilanti's 2024 Youth Poet Laureate Ruth Mella
Week 3 (4/30/25 6:30pm-7:30pm): interconnectedness of language and culture in poetry
